OUR MISSION
Making Outdoor Adventure Accessible to Every Family
Roots to Peaks removes the barriers that keep families from experiencing the outdoors. Through completely free nature-based adventures, interactive scavenger hunts, outdoor exploration, and teen-led activities, we give children and families opportunities to discover new experiences, build confidence, and create lasting memories together—regardless of income or experience.

Hiking & Trail Exploration
Discover local trails, explore nature, and build confidence through guided adventures for youth and families of all experience levels.

Family Adventure Days
Experience hands-on outdoor activities designed to introduce youth and their families to new skills, new experiences, and the joy of being outside together.

Outdoor Skills
Learn practical skills like shelter building, knot tying, and outdoor safety while creating memorable experiences in nature.
Nature Scavenger Hunts
Turn outdoor exploration into a family adventure with interactive challenges that encourage family teams to explore, discover, and work together.

Water Adventures
Experience activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and water exploration that introduce families to new ways to enjoy the outdoors.
